for a while now, i've been looking for a new place to live kind of. i like this house, but it's just not adequate for what i'd like. well, i've changed my mind. it's becoming better and better for me. some things i still have problems with. here's an example.
my mom has an old piano she doesn't want anymore. it's kind of an antique i think. she's had it in her living room as long as i can remember. so she offered it to me. well, my living room is BIG enough for a piano, but we have it organized in such a way, that there's just no place for it. but we'll make a space. i guess.

i dont 'know if it's the house that's really been inadequate, or just my idea of the house. i guess what i mean is... it's just been my idea of the house that was inadequate. here's what i mean.

what i want is a place to keep my donkey, a little chicken coop, a camper, truck, and places to put them that don't make me look white trash. some place to store my motorcycle in the winter... that sort of thing.

well, i put up a fence a couple day's ago, and have had my donkey in my back yard since. there are some pine tree's that ruin my lawn and my life. those things will go as soon as i pull up a little money (much less expensive than you think, to have someone take them out, thanks to family) and a little dough to replace them, and line my property with tree's. poplars i think. i like poplars. they grow fast.

i have a little crappy shed, not really though, i have a skeleton of a shed because i'm not really smart enough to frame, nor do i have experience, nor have i had the money to finish it. so there is a little area which is covered that i keep my lawn mower in, and above it is just the rest of the skeleton. well, that upper part is a perfect spot to hang my canoe. and i can compartmentalize the rest. one little area will house my motorcycle this winter. one will keep all my pioneer gear. etc etc etc.
now the only problem was that i didn't have any wood to finish it. but the camper had a bad floor. well, not the whole floor, just where you walk in. so i have been seeking wood. i came across a little sort of windfall of wood. really just the perfect amount to finish the camper, and make a compartment or two for my tools to store.

about a year ago, i bought a truck from my friend. that truck had a little compression problem in one of the cylinders. it worked though, just a little hard to start out. but eventually it got so bad, it acted like it had a bad fuel pump. and it's been sitting ever since.
well, my friend josh had an old camper that was in the way, that he'd never use. he wanted a couple hundred off it maybe, no big deal, but couldn't get that much. so he traded it for a blazer. which he planned on taking to the recycling yard. they're paying alot of money for old cars right now for some reason. but the blazer runs. has good tires, and is not in horrible shape. but he still planned on recycling it. so i've traded him my truck for him to recycle for this blazer. hopefully it will run just fine for me too.
bonus: we had a bunch of scrap metal hanging around my house. so i've loaded it up into the truck, and our house is now less white trash on the outside (excluding the donkey of course)
to recap.

price of wood: 0$
price of fence: also nothing, which means the summer i don't have to worry about the donkey wearing out his welcome in someone elses pasture, and i get to see, check up on him, walk him, and brush him any time i want, just going into my back yard.
blazer: practically free too. (practically, technically, 500 big ones, but not really)

also, sarah sold her cougar. it was a sad day for her. she paid 1500 big ones for it, and then rebuilt the engine. she's had it for about 8 years, it was her first car. a pretty classic muscle car. sold. gone from her life forever.
to replace it, a camera. at least a camera i mean. that's what she's been aching for for a while, and now she has that opportunity. i guess that means we'll be taking a lot more pictures.

i just thought of something that made me sad.
