a post of pictures

i'll go in order of events here.

so we visited texas. on the way there we stopped in at the billie the kid museum, where charlie was arrested. this is him in jail.

the amazing thing about this museum has always been the calf with three two bodies. it's been there for years. one head two bodies. there is no way to get a good picture of it. like those giant tree's.... how do you show how magnificent they are?

also, we found out he doesn't really like that lion. here's him in an argument with him.

he was very bored sitting int the same position facing away from everyone for those twenty hours. poor kid. he did really well though. he was a good sport. it was the way back that he didn't really like.

next we went to the lake. lake nasworthy. that is in san angelo. if that name sounds familiar, it should, it's the same place they took those flds kids. well, so we swam. i didn't mean to get shorts that were the same color as my skin, but here they are. i'll add a bunch of small pictures for this. actually, i won't do anything in order, i'll post pictures and explain them. this one, the one that i'm fat in, is just me pretending to be a fish. or a whale.

everyone has one aunt i'm sure, that pinches your cheeks. this was that aunt. aunt lucy. really, she's my mom's aunt.

we're at the lake here. there's a family guy episode, where he's going to tell a racist joke, so before, he looks everywhere. he looks around corners, etc etc etc. and when it comes time for the punchline, a black guy pops out of the potted plant and asks whats up. the joke is then changed to teach black ideals. right here in the picture, i'm telling a black joke, and one car away is the biggest black man i've ever seen.

the moral of the story? don't. don't tell black jokes, unless you're in utah.

here's gideon and mayra. on my grandma's porch

so me and my cousins daughter alura got into an argument. for a long time we repeated ourselves before it got physical. and she has a twin sister named seven that backs her up. so what'd i have to do? after this offending punch, things got a little out of hand

this is me body slamming seven. i guess she'll think twice before sticking up for her very argumentative sister....

awww, an adorable little girl annemarie. my cousins daughter. my cousin is very pretty too. who is named belen, which i think means bethlehem. a very beautiful name... though i think it's just a middle name.. .i don't really know, but i think her first name is norma.

and my uncle fred. always the nicest guy i've known, i've never known this man to be angry. i accidently got him a diet pepsi, instead of a regular... and he said...."diet" like he was dissappointed. where i would've been angry. i know that's not really a good example, but... i guess i don't have one.
i hope he restores those vehicles he's been wanting too.

we went back to lake nasworthy the next day. this time near a water fall. we put charlie in the water (the temperature was 100 that day.... so we let him try it out) he was scared with the current, and cold of course. but it wasn't long, and i think in the end, he kind of enjoyed it.

my uncle fred again. with his third son josh and his three kids. seven, allura, and rannin. i'm not sure if i spelled any of those right. it's good to see that man smiling. i can't imagine how happy he was then, seeing his children and grandchildren. it's not that common.

am i in a movie here? no. lake nasworthy. yes. i am that white.

this is interesting, we were trying to make gideon look like he was walking on water. no, if you zoom in, or look closely, you can see that he's actually drowning someone.

we went to a wedding too. this is me cleaned up.

my cousins. so here's my family on that side. my uncle fred's biological children include scott, josh, brian, erica, and beaudilio. the children from umparo is named, belen, mayra, and mario.
this is belen mayra, and erica. erica has always reminded us of two people. my mom, and my sister.

this is my abuelita. i love seeing her with my son. he threw up all over her though. very cute old lady. and amazing. so there's something i want you to see. so go down to the house pictures.

umparo and rannin

so like i said i was a little hot in texas. so i enjoyed an otter pop, and my son enjoyed a bottle.

this is unrelated, but i lived with a man once. that's not the story though. we were sitting around asking eachother what we wanted to be when we "grew up" when we were children. some people say cop, fireman, dancer etc etc etc. this man wanted to be the ceo of otter pop. he even wrote them to apply for a job in fifth grade.....

dream on drew. dream on.

here's where i want you to see how amazing my grandma is. every window in this house has been updated by her. those cabinets you see she carried in herself. none of the walls had drywall on them. she put drywall up all over the house including the ceiling, painted it, and installed all these things. her parents built this house. her mom died here. it's a very small crooked house, with no foundation. she also dug under it, and lifted parts of it with a jack, and threw bricks underneath to keep it steady.

this is the back of the house.

seven. pretty picture of her.

grandparents and a smile

sarah's grandparents are old. they have old habits, they're just... old. they move every year (though i think this is their last probably) from quartzsite arizona, to wyoming. every year they stop through.
they are the greatest people i've ever met.
well, this time, they stopped by sarah's dads house, and he wasn't home yet. after waiting, they decided to come try to find my house. so they drove the streets of wellsville, until they decided they were just plain lost. every bit they drove, got less familiar. so they stopped to ask a man in a tractor for help. grandpa didn't want to, but he was forced. of course he thought it was a stupid question "do you know where josiah maughan lives?" this town must be bigger than that! but he asked anyway. the response?
"of course i do, that's my cousin. i'm going that way now, just follow me"

this lady is hard to get a good picture of. she doesn't like pictures of her. so if she knows one is being taken, she glares and turns away. this time i took a random picture of sarah's dad, which he reacted to. she thought it was funny, and i caught her in the best picture taken of her there is.

she was pissed.

well, like i said, they're old. this man cannot see anymore really. he used to love to read. he worked with his hands as much as he could. little mechanic works.one time we were looking through a photo album, and he started to explain a picture of amy, where it was, why he took it etc. but it wasn't of amy, it was a cactus. with his failing eyesight, his whole lifestyle is going away.that's how old people are i guess. well, so sarah's dad insisted that he take his father for a motorcycle ride. the last one of his life probably. it was tough to get him to agree, and it was tough to get him on the bike, but there it is, sarah's dad and grandpa on this bike.

well, it's easier to get a good picture of this man. sarah say's it's wierd to see him with our baby. because he is so proud of him. he'd never say it, well, he might, but he doesn' have to. the look on his face say's it all.

heres' a couple of charlie. one i didn't know was focused on something else, and not him. bad guess camera. and also, bad knowing how to change that, joe.

he is of course the cutest when he sleeps. well, maybe not. but he definately is a very cute kid while he's sleeping.

he's starting to smile more and more. he smiles on demand now. and that's what this picture is, the best caught smile there is. he's like his great grandma. as soon as there is a camera around, here come the glares. but these three pictures are exceptions i guess.

quick update. i traded that truck for a blazer. remember? well, i've been having a hard time getting the motivation, money, and help to fix it up, so i've probably traded it for a truck which already runs, a little ford f250. i like this for several reasons.
1. no top to put on and take off.
2. it's actually a truck
3. it's a ford. i'm a ford man. the blazer is of course, a chevy.

so i've known about this video for a while. but i haven't shared it. it's questionable. people get mad at me for thinking it's funny. there's no curse words, and it's not dirty. but it's still a little risk-ay.

so here it is. afterwords i'll put a couple cute new ones of seth and charlie here.

..>Knock Knock on FunnyOrDie.com..>

not funny? fine. here's a website that has more hilarious video's. it's funnyordie.com i think will farrell made this site. it's like utube, except it's at least semi proffesional videos.

i'm too lazy to organize, so there's just a bunch of pictures on top.
oh, and by the way. charlie is getting blessed on june the first. anyone... and i mean anyone, who wants to come, may. call me. but more personally, come to the lunch thing we're having afterwards. it'll be at the wellsville tabernacle, june first at around 1100. another great opportunity to have all our friends and family near.

so, and explanation of pictures.

the first one is the donkey. he's out there in a light snow. as far as i know, not many people have seen said donkey. he's young, and is funny to interact with. very scared sometimes. i don't like that, i think someone must've been harrassing him at my grandma's house. i take him on walks sometimes, up into the mountains, through fields, into and out of the canal, he's much farther along than i thought he would be. he just loves walking. the grass used to be long back in my back yard. but he's eaten it pretty much down. this will help alot with the weeds that have made their way into our yard. not to mention the crab grass.

he poos in one spot like a dog. in one corner. nowhere else. isnt' that strange? i think so. i'm glad that's the case though, it gives me an opportunity to shovel it up, and bury it. soon we'll have an abundance of fertile dirt with which to patch spots in our lawn, fill sunken spots in our lawn etc. eg, i pulled up a tree root. a pine tree... horror of a time, and left a large hole. i put a bunch of biodegradable things in that hole before i put the dirt back in that came out. i've been slowly filling it. and now it's not a hole, but it's still sunken to the point it's hard to mow. but there is a lot of grass in there. that's a good thing, that it was able to easily grow grass. my sprinkler system leaks, the excess water gathers in that sunken area.

the next is of our dog. yodi. first before the hair cut. very hairy. looks like he lives with an old lady that neglects him. the next is him after the cut.
you ever seen "my name is earl"? in pictures his eyes are always closed. well, yodi for some reason, though we rarely see his tongue, it's out alot in pictures. maybe he flicks it out and in at lightening speed all the time.

next is seth. he plays a game with these balls, where he throws (drops) it, then gets it. like playing fetch with himself. this time it was on top of a chair. apparently, even when he's busy fetching, he still has time to smile for a picture.

i like this next one of seth. i like the idea that he was a little angry about being there, until he had his cars. he kept that one in his pocket the rest of the day. while i'm not wild about the concept of bribery to children (rewards are better, and teach very different things) i like the idea that he required these things. and that he likes these cars. you know what i mean?

these other pictures are of course, of charlie. great kid. never cries for just no reason. on the lawn (where the dog lurks behind all) charlie looks like he was reading, and someone bothered him. well, he would if there was a book there.

next an unflattering one of me with long long hair (longest i've had in 6 years) and a beard (longest i've had in two) we both look pretty upset that we're awake.
what was i thinking with that long hair? sometimes i think it looks good long, and when i cut it it's refreshing to know i look better with short hair. leastways i thinks so.

then me and charlie, me spitting out a toothpick. i hope when it lands it's not on the baby's eye! (it wasn't of course)

make sure you share this video with your friends. make sure they dont' have loved ones that are close to them that have committed suicide, or that their personal experiences don't include molestation etc etc etc. or they won't think it's funny. well, some might.... the ones who can laugh at themselves. hopefully noone who see's this is one that would be laughing at THEMSELVES while watching this. if it is you.... seek help please.

scaredy... dog?

theres a storm right now. it's lightening and thunder, and hail. whenever this happens, we get a scratching sound on our bedroom door, or, if it's open, a visitor to our bed who refuses to leave. i'm talking about the dog.

yodi is terrified of storms. terrified.

so while i'm comforting him out here in the living room, i've decided to blog.

the one i feel bad for is the donkey. i feel bad that he's out in that hail, with little or no cover. sure, there are tree's out there, two apple and four pine. but that poor donkey has no sense to shade himself, or enough sense not to get struck by lightening.
a horse has an under coat, which makes him almost immune to the weather. donkeys don't. i'm just glad i haven't shaved his winter coat off yet.

but i AM glad for the precipitation. i love free lawn watering.

for a while now, i've been looking for a new place to live kind of. i like this house, but it's just not adequate for what i'd like. well, i've changed my mind. it's becoming better and better for me. some things i still have problems with. here's an example.
my mom has an old piano she doesn't want anymore. it's kind of an antique i think. she's had it in her living room as long as i can remember. so she offered it to me. well, my living room is BIG enough for a piano, but we have it organized in such a way, that there's just no place for it. but we'll make a space. i guess.

i dont 'know if it's the house that's really been inadequate, or just my idea of the house. i guess what i mean is... it's just been my idea of the house that was inadequate. here's what i mean.

what i want is a place to keep my donkey, a little chicken coop, a camper, truck, and places to put them that don't make me look white trash. some place to store my motorcycle in the winter... that sort of thing.

well, i put up a fence a couple day's ago, and have had my donkey in my back yard since. there are some pine tree's that ruin my lawn and my life. those things will go as soon as i pull up a little money (much less expensive than you think, to have someone take them out, thanks to family) and a little dough to replace them, and line my property with tree's. poplars i think. i like poplars. they grow fast.

i have a little crappy shed, not really though, i have a skeleton of a shed because i'm not really smart enough to frame, nor do i have experience, nor have i had the money to finish it. so there is a little area which is covered that i keep my lawn mower in, and above it is just the rest of the skeleton. well, that upper part is a perfect spot to hang my canoe. and i can compartmentalize the rest. one little area will house my motorcycle this winter. one will keep all my pioneer gear. etc etc etc.
now the only problem was that i didn't have any wood to finish it. but the camper had a bad floor. well, not the whole floor, just where you walk in. so i have been seeking wood. i came across a little sort of windfall of wood. really just the perfect amount to finish the camper, and make a compartment or two for my tools to store.

about a year ago, i bought a truck from my friend. that truck had a little compression problem in one of the cylinders. it worked though, just a little hard to start out. but eventually it got so bad, it acted like it had a bad fuel pump. and it's been sitting ever since.
well, my friend josh had an old camper that was in the way, that he'd never use. he wanted a couple hundred off it maybe, no big deal, but couldn't get that much. so he traded it for a blazer. which he planned on taking to the recycling yard. they're paying alot of money for old cars right now for some reason. but the blazer runs. has good tires, and is not in horrible shape. but he still planned on recycling it. so i've traded him my truck for him to recycle for this blazer. hopefully it will run just fine for me too.
bonus: we had a bunch of scrap metal hanging around my house. so i've loaded it up into the truck, and our house is now less white trash on the outside (excluding the donkey of course)
to recap.

price of wood: 0$
price of fence: also nothing, which means the summer i don't have to worry about the donkey wearing out his welcome in someone elses pasture, and i get to see, check up on him, walk him, and brush him any time i want, just going into my back yard.
blazer: practically free too. (practically, technically, 500 big ones, but not really)

also, sarah sold her cougar. it was a sad day for her. she paid 1500 big ones for it, and then rebuilt the engine. she's had it for about 8 years, it was her first car. a pretty classic muscle car. sold. gone from her life forever.
to replace it, a camera. at least a camera i mean. that's what she's been aching for for a while, and now she has that opportunity. i guess that means we'll be taking a lot more pictures.

i just thought of something that made me sad.

silver twinkie

well, not much today. but i did look on missingmoney.com, and found that i'm owed money. also, many of my friends at least have family that are owed money too. check it out.

so here are some before pictures of my new baked potato. my silver twinkie, some call it.
that's the outside.

here are some of the inside. sarah and i are pretty excited about how it's going to look. we're re-arranging our house so we can put a full sized bed in there, but here are the pictures.
this is from the front looking back in. you can see if you look hard enough on the right in the rear where the toilet used to be, on that little platform. immediately in front of that is a shower. but i've already torn those out. (well, not that platform, it's one tough sob)
you can see it has an oven and stove

this one is the opposite, from the back looking toward the door. you can see here that is has a sink. on the right there is a furnace. but the lines leak, so it may take some time before i can have heat. above that is where i'm going to put the fridge. and you can see that platform in the front. this will be a bench, which holds utilities within (utilities meaning a shovel, axe, saw... "pioneer gear" as it were) there will be a table too, but the table and a bench will turn into a twin sized bed. i'm not sure how the table will do it, maybe it'll just be removed and put under the bed. but either way, there will be a bed there. we have to start with the inexpensive things first of course, things i won't have to buy much for, like the electricity, a fridge (i have one already i plan on using) the beds (i have wood already)paint, sanding and restaining the cabinets... etc. but the laminate flooring will have to wait, and probably the curtains will have to wait too, because my sewing machine won't sew sometimes, i really have to bother her to do it.

that is all for this one i guess. really just pictures of the last one.

you read it, you cannot unread it.
